Admission Process

1) Registration for admissions for the ensuing year are due as follows:

  1. SNEH :- December
  2. LKG & UKG : March
  3. Primary section : As per vacancy
  4. Secondary Section :- May
  5. Hr. Secondary Section :- As per Government Regulations.

 

2) Application for admission

Application for admission to classes from LKG to Std  XII  should be made to the Section Head of the school. A pupil seeking admission in SNEH, LKG, UKG or Std I must submit zerox copies of the following documents:-

  • Birth certificate ( For SNEH/LKG/UKG/STD 1)
  • Father’s LC
  • Child’s Aadhar Card
  • Parent’s Aadhar Card
  • School LC ( for std II onwards)
  • Fitness Certificate
  • Caste Certificate( if belonging to SC/ST/OBC/ Minority )
  • Bank A/c Details of child.

 

A zerox copy  of the result of the last school examination appeared will have to be submitted by the students seeking admissions in Std I to Std XII. A pupil who is seeking admission in Std I to Std XII should submit an LC from the school last attended , and in case of a pupil from outside Gujarat State, the LC submitted must be countersigned by the Inspector of Schools from the city he/she comes. Students seeking admission in  Std X & Std XII must procure necessary permission from the District Education Officer.

3) Admission Criteria :-

  • Appropriate age
  • Medical fitness as per school standard is a must.
  • Proximity of student’s residence to school especially in preprimary & Primary section.
  • Submission of an application to school does not guarantee admission. Admission to any class is subject to vacancies.
  • Admission granted to the school will be considered final and student seeking admission to any other branch of the Baroda High Schools at a later date will be considered a fresh admission and not an ‘Inter School Transfer’.
  • Decision of the school on any matter related to admission is final and binding to all the applicants.

4) Withdrawals

  1. A student can withdraw his/her name from the school on filling up the school’s prescribed withdrawal form asking for the School Leaving Certificate. The same should be filled up and submitted to the school office by giving at least one month’s notice or the necessary notice fee in lieu of the notice.
  2. Before applying for the School Leaving Certificate the parents must ensure payment of all dues i.e.
  • School Fee
  • Return of library books
  • Lab material 
  1. Parents applying for school Leaving certificate in April will be issued the certificate only on the result day of the school (i.e in the month of May).
